Embassy sends everything to applicants by regular mail only. You should stay in contact with your Embassy by email if mail takes a long time for delivery. Stay on top of things, because the Embassy will not!!!!! On the Embassy website it will tell you that the petitioner is not required to be present at the interview, they requested me to be there, so save your self time and go to the interview in the beginning. The interview took 10 minutes, quick and easy, just tell the truth. Some of the document I obtained they never asked for, they will tell you what document they want at the 1st window. To me the hardest part is waiting for your airpak after you have been approved from DHL, this will drive you crazy. 2008-12-23

Basically, it states that my case has been trxf'd to VSC in order to speed up processing. I had read on the USCIS website that this would happen: The ppwk would stay @ the NVC in MO, but the case would be sent to the SC where my I-130 had originally been submt'd to, in this case, VT. *2007-3-26 Rec'd NOA's for I-129f and I-130 about 1 week apart at the beginning of the month while I was in the Dom Rep visiting my wife, stating that we were approved. I'm pleasantly surprised that the I-130 came through so fast, but it makes me feel like I wasted $$ with the I-129f... Oh well, maybe the K3 petition is why the I-130 was processed so fast; I needed to grea$e the wheels. Now I'm just waiting to hear from the NVC in Portsmouth, NH that they rec'd the packet and are sending it forward to the US Consulate in Santo Domingo. *2007-5-1 I never heard anything from the NVC re: sending out my packet. Only after calling and calling (they always had too heavy call volume and a recording said to call back) did I get some answers. They told me the case # and that they sent it to the US Consulate in DR on 3/2/07. I only know that it was rec'd bc I searched for the case # on the Consular's Appointment Waiting List web page, and Our case was added on 3/7/07. 2008-12-03
